With our 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasound technology, you’ll be able to bond with your child before he or she is born.
Our spacious pregnancy sonogram center features a viewing room that can comfortably seat your invited guests, and we are happy to allow your loved ones to join you during your baby ultrasound. For those with distant loved ones, we offer Wi-Fi, and welcome you to FaceTime or Skype during your ultrasound session.

Katherine Aguilar, RDMS
Katherine Aguilar, owner and manager of An Early Peek Ultrasound, is a registered diagnostic medical sonographer, a credential imparted by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Katherine has more than two decades of experience in the field of ultrasound, specializing in diagnostic ultrasound. She is licensed in OB/GYN, fetal echocardiograms, and in fetal nuchal translucency.
Katherine is a long standing member of the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, which reviews and establishes policies regarding the professional status, legislative activity, and welfare of its members. She has been recognized by Stanford’s Who’s Who in her field several times, and was named executive professional of the year in ultrasound for 2009.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Katherine is dedicated to treating all of our clients with care and compassion. Katherine is married to local dentist Dr. Michael Davis, and has one son. When not providing San Antonio’s parents-to-be with ultrasound services, Katherine and her husband enjoy dancing and spending quality time together as newlyweds.

Averell Sutton, MD
Medical Director of An Early Peek Ultrasound
Born in Washington, D.C. and a resident of New Orleans, LA., Averell was a founding member of Central Women's Health Care, PA after serving a distinguished medical career in the U.S. Army.
During his military service he was Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Reynolds Army Community Hospital in Fort Sill, OK, Dr. Sutton also served as a Combat General Surgeon during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
Averell attended Columbia University in New York City.
He completed his undergraduate studies in biology and received magnum cum laude from Dillard University in New Orleans. Averell earned his medical degree at Meharry Medical college in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brooke Army Medical Center here in San Antonio, TX. Dr. Sutton is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
He is married to Tara Margin Sutton and together they have three sons. Averell enjoys spending time with his family and friends, plays golf and enjoys contemporary jazz music.
Averell and Tara are looking forward to the birth of their first grandchild, a granddaughter in September of 2015.
